This recipe is spectacular. Love the fragrant orange zest + almond. I reserved a small portion of the dough to make an almond-paste filled challah spiral and it was out of this world.

I accidentally put the sugar into the dough because I didn’t read the entire recipe! I’ve made challah a million times and thought the recipe had left it out! Hoping it’ll still be delicious. Stay tuned!

Your challah looks beautiful and the flavor sounds delicious! I love to make stuffed challot to bring additional flavors and textures to my loaves...just adds a bit of time and often some frustration, but any homemade challah is worth the effort.
