Thanks for sharing your tips for recipe-development! And it's encouraging to read that for others too some recipes take close to 10 tries to get them right (so it's not just me!).
Good luck at the IACP awards! As someone who lived in Rome for a bit and didn't even know Rome had a Jewish Ghetto until I moved there I have been really fascinated with Roman/Italian Jewish cuisine.
Some excellent pointers on recipe writing, Leah , and congrats on the IACP nomination! I also really enjoyed your interview with Lara. We saw the deli exhibit at the Skirball at the start of its run. It was a lot of fun. Afterwards we had to have a bowl of matzo ball soup and some rye bread at Canter’s. How could you not?
Great recipe writing pointers, Leah!

It’s definitely not just you!! Sometimes you just get stuck, but you know a recipe is worth fighting for.
And thank you so much. :)
Love the recipe-writing look behind the scenes! Just yesterday I was taking notes while fiddling with chocolate zucchini bread recipe...
Yes! So glad it feels helpful. And keep us posted on that zucchini bread recipe :)
Will do! Taste test happening today…

Thanks Ruth! And I also had a deep craving for deli after seeing the exhibit. Fortunately, 2nd Avenue deli wasn't too far away. :)
