So well said Leah. But we must keep in mind that our efforts must not end. We have two years now to flip Congress, and two after that to challenge for the presidency again. And we must start today to make sure that those opportunities are not taken off the table!
Thanks, Leah, for your words you wrote yesterday, which seemed to hit just the right note. Yesterday was indeed a day for grief, and sadness, and strangeness. But unlike the first time he-who-shall-not-be-named won, I no longer think about moving. Rather, I will stay right here and fight. -- A bit belatedly, thanks to you also for writing about Micaela Pavoncello and Jewish Roma tours in your Portico book. I was in Rome last month and took the three hour tour of the ghetto area and Micaela was fantastic. It was not my first time there, but she brought more dimension to my existing knowledge. Thanks again, for everything. Barrie Kerper

I'm not there quite yet, Joe, but I hear you and agree. I will get there. Today is for grief.
True
Beautifully expressed. But where do we go from here???
I don't know yet.
Thank you for saying what’s in so many of our broken hearts today, Leah!💔
Thank you for these words. Perfectly sums up what I’ve been feeling all night. Sending everyone support today.
I am numb. But not alone. Thank you.
Thank you. I am in a state of shock. It feels like a bad fever dream. I don’t know where we go from here and it’s frightening.
Thank you, Leah. Beautiful and heart-wrenching words.
I am in shock.
Thank you Leah. A dark day indeed.
Thank you. I keep wondering how this happened? Why so many could choose such a flawed man to be the President of our beautiful country.
It is inconceivable.
Thank you Leah. I really appreciate your voice right now. Sending love and strength to you and everyone here.

Oh wow! I love that you got to go on tour with Micaela. She’s the best. And agreed - we will stay and keep fighting.
Thank you Leah. Somehow this helps.
Thank you, Leah. Sending you hugs and all the chocolate tahini banana bread
Thank you.
Thank you for this. I’ve sent it to every woman I love 💔
I’m glad it brought a little comfort. Thank you for sharing it.
